Brainedge Vision

The use of a digital currency provides important ancillary benefits beyond user incentivization and is part of our mission to expand our offerings into new emerging markets. For example, they allow new learners to skip traditional payment channels such as banks and credit cards by providing an ecosystem that can rely entirely on LEARN. Brainedge can even partner with local merchants to enable learners to purchase a reloadable token card, converting their local currency into spendable LEARN credits on the platform and beyond. This supports our ambitious growth strategy of opening up into new language markets that may not have a well-developed payment system. Learn-to-Earn Rewards

Course content viewers have the potential to earn rewards for consuming content. Token rewards are earned based on an algorithm
that takes into account the following:

  • Levels: The number of levels (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) completed
  • Courses: The total courses completed over a period of time
  • Spend: The amount of total spending over a period of time
  • Time Spent: The amount of active time spent on the platform over a period of time
  • Total Time: The length of time as a subscriber, participant, or other user on the platform
  • Referrals: The number of people referred to the platform

Rewards are earned in LEARN tokens which accrue to the account. No special wallet creation or setup is necessary to earn LEARN. These tokens can be spent on-platform to redeem additional course content and other services. LEARN tokens earned on-platform can also be transferred off the platform.

Token Buybacks and Deflation

Brainedge employs a token burn program which is funded by a portion of the platform’s profits. It does so in two ways:

  • Token burn using collected fees
    A portion of the subscription, sponsorship, and other fees paid to the platform in LEARN tokens is burned on a quarterly basis

  • Token burn through buybacks
    A portion of the profits earned from fees collected via fiat payments are used to purchase LEARN tokens on the secondary market. These tokens are then burned. Token burning is a deflationary mechanism and is designed to accrue value to the token ecosystem with each burn. The proposed initial share of profits allocated toward these programs is 50%. This percentage will be evaluated on a per quarter basis and is subject to change at any time based on the prevailing market and operational conditions.
